Based on the proven Roamer Ultra Magnum silencer, the new Roaming Shot Trekker Suppressor delivers the durability, accuracy, and versatility of the original Roamer in a shorter, lighter package while still offering excellent sound reduction and performance by adding in features optimized for bolt action use and intermediate caliber gas guns
The suppressor measures just 6 inches long and weighs 10.48 ounces in its lightweight cap configuration. It is available in .22-caliber, 7mm, and .30-caliber bore options, allowing shooters to select the model best suited to their rifle and application.
Its user-serviceable construction combines 17-4 stainless steel, a reinforced blast system, and Grade 5 and 9 titanium components. The symmetrical core for enhanced accuracy and purpose-built blast chamber is designed to provide consistent accuracy, reduced back pressure, and repeatable point-of-impact shift.
Two Configurations—One Suppressor
Every Roamer suppressor are compatible with our new Waypoint Silencer Brake, giving the shooter the ability to configure the suppressor for competition or hunting.
Waypoint Brake Configuration
The 3.75-ounce Waypoint Silencer Brake attaches to the front of the suppressor and redirects exiting gases to provide additional recoil control beyond the reduction already produced by the suppressor.
Reduced recoil and muzzle movement help the shooter:
- Keep the rifle flatter through recoil
- Maintain a clear view through the scope
- Observe bullet trace and target impacts
- Make faster, more controlled follow-up shots
- Reduce shooter fatigue during extended strings of fire
- Improve recoil management with larger cartridges

Suppressor-mounted brakes are commonly used in precision competition because they can further reduce recoil and help the shooter remain on target. This type of front-mounted brake provides additional recoil reduction by directing the gases as they exit the silencer; muzzle-brake guidance also identifies reduced recoil, reduced muzzle rise, and faster follow-up shots as primary benefits.
Hunting Cap Configuration
For hunting, remove the Waypoint Brake and install the lightweight cap. This configuration keeps the rifle shorter and lighter for carrying in the field while preserving the suppressor’s sound and recoil-reduction benefits.
The cap configuration is ideal when minimum weight, easy handling, and a streamlined rifle profile are more important than maximum recoil reduction.
