Course Description
Whether you’re preparing for your first NRL Hunter match or looking to improve your field shooting skills, the Roaming Shot Outdoors NRL Hunter Fundamentals Course is designed to provide shooters with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to compete safely and effectively.
This comprehensive course covers the core fundamentals of NRL Hunter competition, including equipment selection, rifle setup, firearm safety, stage planning, target identification, rangefinding, positional shooting, tripod and bipod techniques, wind reading, DOPE management, and match strategy.
Students will learn how to efficiently locate and identify targets, build stable shooting positions in natural terrain, manage time under pressure, and execute a repeatable shot process during competition. Through a combination of classroom instruction, demonstrations, dry-fire exercises, and live-fire training, participants will gain valuable experience that directly translates to improved performance in NRL Hunter matches and real-world hunting scenarios.
